And as for tape catalog/TMC inventory, one can find suitable dataset/volume inventory reports available (for example, CA-1 provides legacy utility TMSGRW). And as was mentioned in a prior reply, if you have SAS or WPS, then you likely have licensed Merrill's MXG software which can generate suitable summary reports/outputs for analysis.
