Back in the early '80s my employer bought a 4341, replacing a 370-something. 
The Peoria office CE was contacting a local firm to haul away the old system 
console. Upon finding out they were going to scrap it I asked if the 3270 
screen was usable,  if so we'd keep it.
Fine and dandy, we cabled it into our 32nn controller, voila an extra green 
screen! A bit troublesome using CICS, no clear key!
