Hello DFSORT experts, The DYNALLOC description says that the default number of SORTWKs is 4 and not to specify an unnecessary high number. The DYNAPCT parameter allocates an extra number of SORTWKs to be used in case the DYNALLOC number of SORTWKs appears to be not enough.
I can: a. raise the DYNALLOC default to 6 SORTWKs b. set the DYNAPCT value to 50 In each case 6 SORTWKs are allocated. What is the difference and what is advisable?
