Google finds references to FindRoots and related Java diagnostic tools, but most of them are -- predictably -- not for z/OS. There is an old Redpaper at http://www.redbooks.ibm.com/abstracts/redp3950.html that describes some IBM Java tools, and that in turn leads to en Eclipse-based meory analyser http://www.eclipse.org/mat/ Hopefully some knowledgable IBMer will jump in here...
