Here's an example. How does it know the high halves of the registers are
irrelevant just because I am AMODE 31? Maybe I was in AMODE 64 a second ago.
Maybe I am supposed to be in AMODE 64 and need clues as to why I am not.
Maybe I am doing 64-bit arithmetic. Maybe I am using some of the new "high
word" instructions.
