Pedro,

Thanks. Yes we have the "Host Connection Emulator" (in RD/z), and it works
just like any other 3270 client. But, as near as I can tell, it is not aware
of any of the RD/z "niceties". We are supposed to be doing everything under
RD/z, (to ease the mainframe workload), connecting using another 3270 client,
does not achieve that goal. Thanks you though.

Sorry, I am not familiar with the system setup that is required...

but, there is a daemon that can run on MVS; it acts as an RDz agent. You can
logon to TSO and use ISPF to:
- log in to RDz,
- load data set members,
- edit them using the ISPF editor, and then
- check in your changes.

I launch it using an exec named 'BLZ'. From the exec's prolog:
"Rational Team Concert, Version 6, Release 0, Level 1"
"FUNCTION := Invoke the RTC ISPF Client"

The user setup is to provide the URL for the source code repository, codepage,
etc.

I use this ISPF component in conjunction with the normal Windows client for
RDz, which is still needed to deliver to the higher level streams.
