I think have been cases where an address space determined it was in trouble and wanted to MEMTERM itself, but unable to issue a CALLRTM MEMTERM for *itself* due to storage being exhausted. But, as Jim said, a FORCE command runs in *MASTER* and does not need any storage in the address space.
