No the actual statement used system MVSA. I incorrectly meant to imply any
valid LPAR name.

I have the same problem if I use your statement (JOBPARM i.s.o JOPARM)

/*JOBPARM  SYSAFF=MVS*

HASP112 value of SYSAFF= parameter is not valid

Did you by any chance mean to use /*JOBPARM SYSAFF=* ?

Kees.

Subject: JES2 Mods

I posted a question about SYSAFF not working and received several resonses
(thanks). Thanks especially to Bill Planer for his suggestions.

Several people asked for specifics about the failure. This ocurrs when using
/*JOPARM  SYSAFF=MVS*

The message is out of module HASCSRIP and reads "-- INVALID /*JOBPARM - VALUE
OF SYSAFF= PARAMETER IS NOT VALID".

This only happens after maintenance and reapplying the JES2 mods.

I am currently going through the entire process again to rebuild the system and
see if I still have the failure.

Thanks again,

Larry
