I thought option 6 preserved case. In any event the command line in the editor
does. Try opening an edit session in ISPF -- get all the way to the actual edit
screen, not the file name panel -- and try the command from there, prefixed of
course with TSO.

If it is happening when you use a member as input directly (not as a TSO
command) then it is RACF or TSS that is uppercasing you and I have no idea what
the solution might be.

Subject: TSS or RACF case sensitive

I need to define stuff to TSS which is case sensitive. When I enter the command
from option 6 it converts it to uppercase.

If I execute from a member it appears to do the same thing.

Quotes don’t seem to alter the results.

We are z/OS v2.2.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
