We are moving from TMON to SYSVIEW and are encountering very long processing times when we attempt to generate batch reports from Sysview statistical data that accumulated during the previous day (the data is written to a System Logger logstream). Apparently the report utility is starting its scan of the data from a much earlier date.
What would be the recommended logstream policy for a logstream of this type? Is our assumption correct that this is an active (as opposed to funnel-type) logstream application?
