I need the maximum numbers of z/OS V2.1 devices per Control Unit, FICON
channel and CSS using z13s.
I tried to read in z/OS V2.1 and z13s books, but the information is
scattered and not clear enough for me.
What limits are you interested in?
Vast majority of limits and rules are not specific to z13s machine (ony
number of LPARs, CSSes and SS'es)
Of course there are max. 256 devices per CU, however some CU types has
lower limits.
There is a limit max 8 channels per CU, again some CU types has futher
limitations.
Theres a limit max 256 channels per CSS.
Etc.
