Cześć Radosław, In my shop's case we have over 1000 user-filesystems, so we use automount to only mount the filesystem when the user logons. It would be impractical for us to keep that huge amount of mount statements in BPXPRMxx and to keep it up-to-date with new users.
I've also worked on a smaller shop where all users' directories were defined in one single filesystem. In this case, we didn't use automount.
