Yes, some shops do this.
The methodology is custom, because it higly depends on your
applications. This methodology has to be analyzed and accepted by IBM.
Clue: the more higl-level division the better. The best would be
separate LPAR for mobile workload. However it can be dedicated CICS
region, DB2 subsystem or even transactions.
