Decimal floating point is nothing to do with being "64-bit" or not.
The compiler is prepared for 64-bit when customer need arises. V7 is coming. I don't know when, or what it contains, but it contains something to be V7 not V6.n. If it were to be 64-bit addressing, I doubt that... people... will be writing to unequivocally applaud that. Expect the snarky "16 years late" (or any other number, it doesn't really matter) at least.
