Thank you for asking. The service is for an IBM z/OS product called DB2 V10 CM8 still in support atleast for a few more months. The service is required to get to DB2 NFM and then to migrarte to V11. Yes I do know there is a DB2-L (I am an administrator of that list) But considered this to be a better place to ask this particular question.
