Which is the good line and which the troublesome?  Alignment appears the same 
to me.
I'd expect a problem to arise when any file size is 10 MB or larger.

Would nlist or QUOTE NLST show only the file names, avoiding the problem?

I'd expect BINARY for a .BIN and ASCII for a .TXT.
