​I agree. There is just a slight crack in the wall right now.  That is

but I'm getting "503 Service Temporarily Unavailable" (#include

As I recall, this give you "raw" access to a LUN. You cannot use it as a
disk volume with data sets on it, nor create & mount a UNIX filesystem upon
it. ​It has no data management support. The closest is like using a LDS to
read / write one or more bytes at some offset.
