Indeed. But some words in both Afrikaans and Dutch have totally different
meaning despite identical spelling.

Many years ago, one of our singers, an Afrikaans singer/actor, toured
Netherlands and she innocently said a word during a conversation in a mixture
of Afrikaans+Dutch. The people around her were really not that amused. That was
a big OOOOOPS!

I wish, I could remember what she said.

Kees, when I'm big and rich, I want to tour your beautiful country...

Now speaking of tourism, why is the one LOGREC DD statement named TOURIST?

These LOGREC things like ACCIN, ACCDEV, DIRECTWK, EREPPT, I can understand why,
but TOURIST? I am accustomed with strange names like IGDZILLA in LPALIB, but
can't get over TOURIST... ;-)
