You could review the section on TMSBINQ and see what the requirements are for the JCL. TMSBINQ produces TMS Report 12 - Batch Inquiry. The report contents are determined by the options selected: HEADERS, VOL, DSN or DSNB. The TMC CTL REC #1 I do not think is the right control card. Try HEADERS If your TMC is in EXTENDED format, you may wish to run TMSXTEND in TEST mode. If the TMC is not in extended format, you may wish to consider changing it to Extended. This allows you to add/del/alter the TMC without having to shutdown tape. Note: I find that inserting a couple of spaces in the beginning of a line will keep the formatting better.
