Hey Dirceu,
How are you doing, mate? Long time, no talk.
Just one thought I had, maybe this question would fit more the Assembler
list, which you can subscribe using this link =>
https://listserv.uga.edu/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=ASSEMBLER-LIST&A=1
ASSEMBLER-LIST is for discussions about the assembler language. Tips,
techniques, etc. Such discussions are intended to (and normally do)
apply equally to z/OS, z/VSE, z/VM, z/TPF and z/Linux. They generally
don't single out a specific operating system.
DCB and DEB are z/OS (MVS) control blocks.
If an open DCB does not point to its DEB, then there has been an
overlay. Full stop. No discussion needed.
If the culprit can't be easily found, use a SLIP SA trace to discover
who is perpetrating the overlay.
