I for one would be curious what IBM tells you, I'd like to think if the CF(s) have not been powered off and or are NON-VOLATILE the policies are stored in the CF(s) and read from the CF, if a POR was performed on a CF's then the COUPLE datasets are read.

The Global didn't wander, good thought, I checked to make sure. we restored the CFRM data sets back a couple of months and they all have the incorrect info in them policy wise, bad serial number/device type. so the systems have been running on the first one we came up on.
