At 70 1/2 you are forced to start taking out the RMD from your regular IRA (not Roth). If you are still earning a high salary that may mean the government gets a big chunk (and will most likely do something stupid with it). SO, I expect to drop to part time, travel, practice my musical instruments and enjoy life.
