Could someone please explain under what circumstances the function = GETADDRINFO Fails ? We have enabled an option to send email from a product by specifying the DNS energy of a SMTP error but the same function worked in other LPAR by specifying IP address of SMTP Could someone please advise why the DNS is not accepted but the IPADDR ?
