I think I understand what you want to do, however the list I did this with is not available to me at the moment. I think you want to use the &str function from a weak memory (look it up in the book). timeYY eq (&str(&time,1:2)) timeldd eq (&str(&time,3,2)) Like I said look it up in the book but &STR is what you need to break apart a variable.
