Are you talking the FTP daemon? If so, do you have your FTPSDATA set to log? If so, where? FTPD can log either to SMF or to a log file or both. Do you have the syslogd daemon running? If syslogd is running and you have the active ftpsdata set to log activity, the syslogd started task might show you where the log is being written to. In my case, on my sandbox, in the syslogd daemon I see this: "BPXF024I (SYSLOGD) Aug 29 21:31:37 localhost syslogd: FSUM1230 Log file /tmp/ivp.syslog.log was created". I just go into omvs, switch to root, and can browse this file. Mt FTP accesses to this machine are logged there.
