Hi Itschak, If it's just F11 and F12 you are having problems with it may be that the Mac OS X keyboard shortcuts have hijacked them. Try going into the Mac OS X System preferences -> Keyboard -> Shortcuts. On the left hand side click on Mission Control and if it has F11 & F12 checked for show desktop/background try unchecking them and see if that helps.
