I did the same thing but get new complaints:

RDEFINE RACFVARS &RACLNDE UACC(NONE) OWNER(<sysprog group>) RALTER RACFVARS
&RACLNDE ADDMEM(<your JES node>) (add one for each
node)
SETROPTS CLASSACT(RACFVARS) RACLIST(RACFVARS)
