I guess I'm in puzzlement over how this device relates in any way to IBMz
mainframes.

This forums IS NOT for discussing "tinker toy" hardware (aka "Intel" or
"ARM" machines, not even "IBMp" or IBMi machines)

The company laptop, in my case, is allowing me to have multiple simultaneous
TN3270E emulation running for connecting to all the mainframe LPARs (z/os and
zVM) for my employer. And they let me work from home. So I make sure that I am
getting stuff done. And that KVM switch that I have lets me have an external
monitor to the laptop giving me more glass to put 3270 displays on.

And all the PDFs open that I need for all the things I have to deal with, be
they macros, data areas, REXX, ISPF, DFP or other components.
