The problem is I don't know which ones (if any) are packed.

If you know what you are searching for, you can enter the name of the PDS in
the 3.4 screen. When you see the member list enter SRCHFOR on the command line
and all members that contain that search string will be highlighted.

For example if you are looking for the name BILL in all members SRCHFOR BILL

HTH

Subject: ISPF packed member question

Hi list,

I have what is hopefully an easy question that I just am looking in the wrong
place. Given a PDS of source or JCL, is there a quick, "easy" way of finding
any/all the packed members within the PDS?

Thanks,

Rex
