I've had success in the few cases I've tried between MVS and CMS (but not ADRDSSU dumps).
Have you encountered failures between z/OS and z/OS. Would this be APARable? Proably a battle not worth fighting. More valuable would be either: o an RFE to incorporate TERSE/DETERSE into FTP and/or SFTP. o or an RFE to make TERSE/DETERSE UNIX-file savvy, since the UNIX file could be a pipe and SSH (underlying SFTP) can handle pipes. Why can't AMATERSE terse a PDS directly to tape? Does AMATERSE invoke IEBCOPY for PDS? -- gil ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [email protected] with the message: INFO IBM-MAIN
