If you write a simple edit macro with the commands
    C P'.' ' ' 73 80 ALL
    SAVE
    END
you can specify this macro to automatically execute when you edit a member.  
Then display the dataset in 3.4 and issue the line command E(*).  If you 
prefer, you can bring up the member list and issue the line command E for the 
specific ones you want to process.

After you are done, remove the automatic execution of this macro before editing 
any other data.
