Nope. This can only be changed by command. JES2 will remember prior settings until changed via command.
$TJOBCLASS(*),SWA=ABOVE $TJOBCLASS(STC),SWA=ABOVE <----- $TJOBCLASS(TSU),SWA=ABOVE It sounds (to me) like someone issue the command previously and reality and JESPARM have gotten out of sync. -----Original Message----- From: IBM Mainframe Discussion List <IBM-MAIN@LISTSERV.UA.EDU> On Behalf Of Giliad Wilf Sent: Friday, August 10, 2018 8:19 AM To: IBM-MAIN@LISTSERV.UA.EDU Subject: MSG IEFA111I SWA=BELOW,TIOT SIZE=32K,DSENQSHR=DISALLOW,GDGBIAS=JOB Hi All, Observing a z/OS 2.3 start-up of a new system, I can see a lot of these messages, all of which state "SWA=BELOW". All our JES2 jobclasses specify "SWA=ABOVE, but these messages are issued forSTCs invoked before JES2 start-up, or for STCs managed by subsystems other thanJES2. AFAIK, SWA location can be set by IEFUJV, which is roughly SR 15,15 plus BR 14 on our vanilla system. Is there a way to control SWA location for such STCs without writing a site IEFUJV? Maybe a PARMLIB member, such as ALLOCxx?
