No.
GIMUNZIP requires specially built SYSIN.
Something like this:
//SYSIN     DD *
<GIMUNZIP>
<ARCHDEF
name="S0002.CSP.STP25884.DOCLIB.pax.Z"
volume="*"
newname="S04.STP25884.DOCLIB">
</ARCHDEF>
<ARCHDEF
name="S0003.CSP.STP25884.RIMLIB.pax.Z"
volume="*"
newname="S04.STP25884.RIMLIB">
</ARCHDEF>
<ARCHDEF
name="S0005.CSP.STP25884.PGMDIR.pax.Z"
volume="*"
newname="S04.STP25884.PGMDIR">
</ARCHDEF>
</GIMUNZIP>

OTH, it could be a paxed ESD to be unpaxed by the 'pax -rvf' command run under
BPXBATCH.
If this guess is right, you should see after unpaxing a job UNZIPJCL or alike
that will do GIMUNZIP.
