Just a note. The ACDS and SCDS should not be on the same DASD. If I
remember that it is an IBM recommendation. Perhaps things have changed with
the new releases of DFSMS.

There are several flavors of the SETSMS command to move the current CDS's from
current to new.
SETSMS SAVESCDS(new SCDS)
SETSMS SAVEACDS(new ACDS)
SETSMS COMMDS(new COMMDS)
Define new (larger) datasets with IDCAMS and use the SETSMS Commads to populate
and invoke the new datasets
