I would get the feeling Peter Relson and Rob Scott would say ALESERV

If '1' is already a valid ALET you can use in your execution-time environment, the implication is that the system and/or the hardware has already made it available to you legally.

If so, don't add an additional entry via ALESERV.

Be aware that SSAR is replaced by SSAIR. Neither ought to be used if you can avoid doing so...
