And he suffered the same consequence as you. SPF introduced an offsetting breakage by making CAPS ON the default for new files. A CDC editor had a worse behavior. If I failed to heed a warning at startup it converted my entire file to CAPS at SAVE. No other warning; no recovery. And once a VM admin pretending to help me with a problem made a change to my EXEC; tested it; failed. He spotted the problem; quickly re-edited; TOP; UPPER *; SAVE. Dammit!
