I'm building some clists for a couple of applications that will LIBDEF their libraries, instead of having them concatenated. I see two subtly different ways to do these: a) SELECT the clist, which after the LIBDEFs, SELECTs the product's main entry with NEWAPPL & PASSLIB. b) SELECT the clist with NEWAPPL, and the LIBDEF clist just SELECTs the application without NEWAPPL.
I am wondering if there's any significant difference in the two ways. I don't really expect to see any difference, just looking to see if some expert knows that there's better performance or recovery or whatever one way or the other. -- sas ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [email protected] with the message: INFO IBM-MAIN
