The SHAREMEMOBJ is cleaned up at address space termination (or if explicitly detached with AFFINITY=LOCAL). GETSHARED requests are never automatically cleaned up and must be explicitly detached with AFFINITY=SYSTEM. The memory is finally freed when all local and system requests have detached (explicitly or automatically).
