So, I wonder:
Does coding BLKSIZE=0 ever lead to complete failure of a utility or product? I encountered one many years ago. It was promptly fixed by APAR. Does BLKSIZE=0 ever lead to suboptimum performance? There might be trivial exceptions for unlabelled tapes with DISP=MOD or for IEBGENER where SYSUT1 is already adversely blocked. -- gil ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [email protected] with the message: INFO IBM-MAIN
