Hi Varun, Adopting Tailored Fit Pricing is not mandatory.
Two of the Tailored Fit models are models that are comprehensive replacements for sub-cap (4HRA) based models. There are also two models (1. dev/test 2. new app) that can sit alongside the 4HRA model. These offerings have specific pre-reqs and may change entitlement needs, so an interested client would engage IBM to understand the benefits and any cost / entitlement impacts... Mutual agreement is needed. Take care, Andrew Sica https://www.ibm.com/it-infrastructure/z/software/pricing-tailored-fit https://www.forbes.com/sites/patrickmoorhead/2019/05/30/ibm-makes-the-mainframe-more-accessible-with-new-tailored-fit-pricing-program/ ____________ Hi Andrew, With regards to the tailor fit pricing you mentioned in your response to the original question, is this something that will exist along with the existing 4HRA mechanism (at least for sometime) for charging to the customers, or would it be mandatory for customers to move towards this?
