I searched and found "ISPT037 Library format error - Invalid record: Table=aaaaaaaa TTRN=bbbbbbbb Offset=cccccccc." So if you still have the message, you could perhaps estimate where the error is in the member.
Packed? Back in the day, when I was a sysprog, we didn't pack tables. I have no idea whether that still applies. If it does, it would seem worth asking how it got packed.
