I copied Tomothy's hyperlink and used Chrome to go to the page and the Attend
button did show up in Chrome. My employer must have blockers activated for our
IE11 browser, which they prefer us to use.

I do see what you saw when I clicked the Attend button, it forces you to sign
up with Meetup to attend the meeting.

Like you I think I'll pass on this one, don’t need another bunch of emails
flowing in, got too many of those already.

Too bad, really.

Peter - FYI, I have fairly severe ad and tracker blocking in my
(Firefox) browser, and yet I do see the red Attend button in the lower right.
That said, it's unclear to me why I should have to sign up and provide personal
information to a third party (Meetup - owned by
WeWork) in order to be able to use yet another third party (Webex - owned by
Cisco) to attend an online presentation by IBM. IBM used to run all this kind
of infrastructure itself, and I would be much happier if it had continued to do
so.
