Hi all, First apologies if this isn't the right forum to ask this question.
MQ is not my native language (or second or third for that matter). Here's my situation. We have a CICS region writing messages to a remote queue. Unfortunately sometime in the past, the server that was handling this queue vanished from our landscape. Now I have a full pageset dataset. Is there a way using CSQUTIL or some other MQ utility to delete the records sitting on this queue without deleting and redefining the pageset? I've been meandering through the MQ reference but since this thing weighs in at well over 5000 pages, I haven't found success. I thought I had it with the EMPTY command, but that only works on local queues.
