We use a good portion of the VM:Manager suite on our 'traditional' VM
systems but not on the Linux hosting ones. We are trying to get the
products licensed for the VM/Linux LPARs, but no luck yet.

The suite is very good and well developed. VM:SPOOL is like a microwave
oven; Once you start using it, you won't know what to do without it if it
goes away. DIRMAINT is okay for basic directory managment (if you don't
mind gritting your teeth everytime you have to use it!) but VM:Secure goes
way beyond and makes directory management easy, not to mention adding in
the additional security to the system with Rules, etc.

MY recommendation is to get them installed and try them. I think you will
like them and find a lot of use once you see what they can do for you.
