As an aside on not opening suspicious emails.... I understand that you don't open those because of a fear of possible payload. Over the last few years (since spam/viruses became the majority of my incoming mail) I have stopped "downloading email". To clarify - I download *headers only*, and delete at source all suspicious emails. The good part about this is that if a subjectless email carries a name I think is familiar, I look at the headers and see if it was sent via the list server. If it was, I just assume that Dan made sure it has no virus in it. (Right, Dan? :-) ) >From the header list I select all the 'real' emails and only they are actually downloaded to my PC. Shimon P.S. If anyone is interested, the email client used is Pegasus email for Windows, running with Wine on Linux.
