Raymond,
I made MAINT's 19E 350 cylinders and MAINT's 493 200 cylinders.
Good luck.

Dave,
So how many cylinders did you end up allocation to MAINTs 19E and 493?

Yes, and when I applied the 5.2 RSU 0601 yesterday, I found that both
MAINT's 19E and 493 minidisks needed to be increased in size.
Fortunately, the SERVICE processor has the ability to handle these sorts
of errors, and has a very good restart facility. Once I increased the
size of the minidisks (I found enough room at the end of 520W02),
SERVICE restarts where it left off and completes the maintenance.

Depends on RSU size. z/VM 520 RSU 0601 takes about 35000 4k blocks

How big a disk do you need for an RSU?
I recently ordered the most recent z/VM 4.4 RSU which is four
tapes-worth and wondered what it would have required
to download.
thanks,
Kate

I have a large disk set aside for RSU processing. Better than
tape.
