It worked for me but as always, YMMV. The big issue for me wasn't very big at all, the GATEWAY statement in the TCPIP configuration stuff was different in syntax and I had to read the docs a few times, then some trial and error changes.
So far, all is well 24 x 7 and counting. With that said, please understand that we run a very basic VM. Supports a few VSE guests and DB/2 service machines, SHARK, 2 OSA Express cards. We are a small shop. -----Original Message----- From: The IBM z/VM Operating System [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Hughes, Jim - OIT Sent: Friday, April 14, 2006 3:59 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: ZVM 5.2 Install Assistance Maybe I should declare victory and move on......????? _______________________ Jim Hughes 603-271-5586 "Impossible is just an opinion." =>-----Original Message----- =>From: The IBM z/VM Operating System [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On =>Behalf Of Robert Payne =>Sent: Friday, April 14, 2006 4:57 PM =>To: [email protected] =>Subject: Re: ZVM 5.2 Install Assistance => =>I recently loaded zVM 5.2 to a second level machine and only =>made a slight glance at the VMFVIEW information.
