Depending on what TYPE the Nomad databases are, you can increase the blocksize or the number of buffers to enable more data to be in memory. This would tend to reduce the number of I/Os. Be sure that you have allocated virtual machine size to be above 16M also. Nomad will do the I/O into high memory if it is available. Lloyd Fuller
