We are Suse9 sp3+(2.6...252) So dumb question. If I can't sig shutdown to the guest why isn't 'logoff ' the guest killing it? I know this works(done it several times early on
until I found out about cp disc...oops. BUt I log it off wait a few and I logn right back on and the guest stares at me like " is that the best you got"?? So then I'm forced to go to maint and issue a force. While I'm on the issue of force. In old mvs days if you had to force an application out it was always wise to ipl the machine to clean up memory. How does VM (5.1) handle the mem issue?? thanks Mace
