Both products provide numbers. It is what can be done with the numbers that has value. Do you buy drill bits or the ability to drill holes of a certain size? The real question is: when you need to drill a specific size hole or solve a performance problem, do you have the right bit or data.
Do a search for z/VM and Linux Performance education You would need to learn how to use the numbers. Do a search on the IBM redbook site for z/VM, Linux and performance. Look what products are used vs what products are discussed. Look at what products are used to show performance of linux servers, and who consistently presents performance topics with examples. And look at zTUNE.... >Date: Tue, 13 Jun 2006 08:22:04 -0500 >From: =?iso-8859-1?Q?Larry_Macioce?= <[EMAIL PROTECTED] > >It looks as if we are going to buy a kit.
